Community, Service & Upcoming Events
The Easton Rotary Club continues its tradition of service, fellowship, and community impact as we celebrate 111 years of service. Members recently shared personal milestones, community updates, and exciting opportunities to get involved.
Mental Health Training OpportunityRotarians highlighted an upcoming QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) Suicide Prevention Training. This free 90-minute session teaches participants how to recognize warning signs, understand myths and facts about suicide, and confidently approach someone who may need help. Snacks will be provided, and registration is available by contacting the event organizer. This initiative aligns with Rotary’s commitment to community well-being and mental health awareness.
Club & Community Highlights
Members shared “Happy Things,” including family updates, professional accomplishments, and community successes.
Easton Rotary expects to send three students to STEM YEA this year.
Six participants recently attended Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI).
Local nonprofits continue to benefit from Rotarian support through fundraising and outreach.
Fundraising & Service Projects
Easton Rotary is currently selling Single Barrel Select bottles of Jack Daniels as a fundraiser, with approximately 25% already sold.
The club is planning a potential “Whiskey Day” at the Farmers Market and seeking volunteers.
Rotarians will gather to beautify a park near the 4th Street exit of Route 22.
The annual “Pack the Purse” project is scheduled for May 7.
The Birthday Kit project was well received and will continue quarterly.
Upcoming Opportunities
Charity golf outings supporting local organizations are scheduled throughout May.
Members are encouraged to participate in service projects and community events to continue Rotary’s mission of “Service Above Self.”
