As we move through late spring and into the final stretch of the Rotary year, Easton Rotary has a full calendar of service, fellowship, and impactful opportunities. Below are reminders, announcements, and a look at what’s coming up in the weeks ahead.
⚾ Rotary Strike‑Out Hunger & End Polio – August 6, 2026
Rotarians are invited to join fellow members at the Phillies game on Thursday, August 6, for Rotary’s annual Strike‑Out Hunger and End Polio event. Rotary International President Olayinka “Yinka” Babalola of Nigeria will throw the ceremonial first pitch as the Phillies take on the Washington Nationals. Flyers with additional details are available—this is always a fun and meaningful night at the ballpark. Go Phils!
🌟 Upcoming Service Projects
👜 Pack the Purse – May 7
Easton Rotary will once again host Pack the Purse, a project that supports individuals in need by providing essentials with dignity and care.📍 Pomfret Club (Upstairs Room)🕠 5:30–7:00 p.m.
Members have already begun collecting items. Needed donations include:
Shampoo & conditioner
Soap
Toothpaste & toothbrushes
Mints
Pocket calendars or notebooks
Pens
Snacks
$10 gift cards (Dunkin’ or Target)
Gently used purses and bags
Thank you to everyone helping make this project a success.
🎂 Birthday Kits – New Quarterly Project
Our Birthday Kit project is now an ongoing quarterly initiative. Members are encouraged to bring birthday kit items to meetings and socials throughout the year.
These items will be collected and packed during future project dates. Jen and I will be working together to keep this meaningful project moving forward. Thank you for helping bring joy and celebration to someone’s special day.
