Our program featured the popular Students of the Month program. The students are selected from four local high schools and each winner will receive a certificate and a $200 check. Each student's name will also be added to the permanent plaque in their school. Program Chair Mark Haldaman presented awards to the following students: September - Dominic Falcone, Easton High: Dominic serves as Student Body President, plays football, and is Captain of the wrestling team. He is in the National Honor Society and is active in Project Lead the Way. His volunteer work includes Special Olympics and the Miracle League. He plans to attend the United States Military Academy. October - Matthew Mueller, Wilson High: Matthew is active with the Future Business Leaders of America, the International Club, and the National Honor Society. He is in the jazz and concert bands and is Captain of the cross country team. He volunteers at church and the Williams Township Athletic Association. He plans to attend a four-year college to study chemistry or biomolecular engineering. November - Emily Grays, CIT/Easton High: Emily is a star in the Culinary Arts program at the Career Institute of Technology. She has been accepted at the Culinary Institute of America and will pursue a two- year degree. She is a Line Cook at the Easton Wine Project and hopes to have her own cafe or food truck someday. December - Lauren Dicker, Notre Dame High: Lauren is in the National Honor Society, KEY Club, and serves as a tutor. She plays volleyball and is active with the Future Business Leaders of America, and Peer Listeners. Her volunteer service includes Special Olympics and the Miracle League. She hopes to attend Penn State University and be a global and international relations major.
